Speaker Bios
Klaus Salchner is a seasoned executive who has more than 25 years of experience running product development organizations around the globe. He is a technology leader who is passionate about building cloud and enterprise based products. Currently, Klaus is the VP Engineering at Realtor.com. He believes that building an innovative and modern cloud product is a people business. This requires a team of passionate and continuously improving technologists, establishing a vision and framework to buy into, and then let your team execute and drive that product vision.
Hussein Waljee comes to us with over 17 years experience in Information Technology, and many of them in the Retail domain. As the VP of Engineering at SPUD and the Principal & Founder of Insight 2 IMPACT, Hussein has developed keen insights about the challenges and opportunities faced by the industry in the application business technology.
Goran Kimovski (Kima) is a professional software engineer with over 20 years of experience in building products and solutions in all major technologies and platforms for desktop, client-server and web solutions. As a cloud veteran and DevOps evangelist he’s been working with AWS public cloud since 2010. In 2013 Kima co-founded TriNimbus, the first AWS Premier partner in Canada. In 2018 Onica acquired TriNimbus, becoming one of the largest pure AWS consulting and managed services partners in the world.
Pankaj Agarwal has over two decades of experience working in the technology outsourcing industry. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Optimus Information Inc., a leading provider of IT services to mid and large size organizations across Western Canada. Prior to founding Optimus Information Inc., Pankaj was a member of the Executive Committee at Sopra Group (a $2 Billion IT consulting company in Europe) and CEO at Momentum Technologies Inc.
Pankaj is active in the local Tech community. He is on the Board of Directors for Science World, and is past president and board member of TiE, Vancouver (The Indus Entrepreneurs), the world’s leading entrepreneurship organization. Pankaj has also served on the Board of BCTIA, BC’s leading technology association.
